Sault Ste. Marie Transit has begun its integration of smart card and mobile app technology to modernize the way passengers access and utilize transit services. The introduction of this system is designed to streamline travel, reduce wait times, and provide passengers with a modern, user-friendly experience.
For the convenience of current bus pass holders, existing passes will remain valid until their respective expiration dates. Upon expiry, passengers will be guided through the process of obtaining new passes compatible with the upgraded Umo system.
The semester bus pass is only available to purchase through the SCSU office.
Please be sure you download the UMO MOBILITY app through your phone's app store before heading into the office. Be sure to sent your app store to the region of Canada in order for the app to be available to download.
