What is a Chapter?

What is a Club?

Chapters are groups of students within the same academic program. Chapters form for a variety of reasons such as: electing a central voice for issues that affect the entire class, to raise funds and to build a sense of camaraderie among classmates.
Clubs are groups of students that share the same interests, but are not necessarily in the same academic program. All clubs must be open to all students who wish to join, with no restrictions.

Let's Get Started

It's easy to start a chapter or club on campus!
Note: In order to be a part of a chapter or club, you must opt-in to the SCSU Chapters & Clubs ancillary fee. You can pay this fee when you pay tuition online or at the Registrar Office.
