Welcome, all! My name is Omi and I am Crow clan. I am an Afro-Indigenous, 2Spirit, queer person and have the honour and responsibility of serving Sault College's Indigenous students as Leader (President) of the Indigenous Students' Union. In this role I will strive to create safe spaces for our First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students. As Indigenous people, the foundations of our lives have always been rooted in relationships and reciprocity, it is with these values that I will do this work to help support and advocate for our Indigenous students. In collaboration with the SCSU, I will ensure that Indigenous Students voices are heard and that there is Indigenous representation on the Board of Directors.
